First Flyers on Ice: Skate for Service Event Benefits Liberty USO

This March, Freedom Mortgage’s First Flyers hosted an afternoon of ice skating at the Flyers Skate Zone in Pennsauken, NJ. Over 150 attendees took to the ice. The event raised over $6,000 for the Liberty USO of Pennsylvania and South Jersey.

First Flyers, with the help of the Liberty USO, welcomed members of military families free of charge.

Local businesses also pitched in to raise money for the cause. Raffle item donations collected from Dunkin Donuts, Chipotle, and the Double Tree in Cherry Hill were an exciting highlight in an already action-packed afternoon.

The Liberty USO works to enhance the quality of life of the U.S. Armed Forces personnel and their families.
