In honor of Veterans Day, Team Freedom Cares coordinated several different volunteer events across the country to provide aid, elevate spirits, and promote a variety of charities in support of our military. Fun BBQ’s were held for residents of Veteran Homes as well as other initiatives including volunteering time to help the Habitat for Humanity Veteran’s Build. Other volunteers supported HabiJax and helped to install a kitchen floor and landscape the Veteran home recipients’ yard by adding sod, flowers and mulching. All Veteran’s day events were a tremendous success with participants raving about the rewarding day. We thank all active duty and retired servicemen and women as well as their loved ones for their service to our county.

In Tempe, AZ, Call Center Employees volunteered at MANA House (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force) in Phoenix, a veteran run organization that offers resources, community and advocacy for local veterans. Freedom Staff held a fun BBQ and spent time thanking Veterans for their service.
Our Fishers employees spent the day building home wall panels for our Indy Habitat for Humanity Home Recipient, a U.S. Army Veteran. The panels will be used during the construction of his new home this spring.
