In honor of Veterans Day, Team Freedom Cares coordinated a series of volunteer events across the nation to provide aid, raise spirits, and promote a variety of charities in support of our military and veterans.
At this year’s Liberty USO Gala on November 2nd in Philadelphia, President and CEO Stanley C. Middleman accepted the Chairman’s Award for Freedom Mortgage’s contributions to the Liberty USO supporting active duty troops and their families.
NJ employees participated in a Team Freedom Cares Casual for a Cause Veteran’s Day raffle raising $2,580 for the Liberty USO.
Freedom Mortgage’s Jacksonville Office collected donations for a Veterans Day contribution to K9 for Warriors, a local organization dedicated to providing service canines to veterans suffering from Post-traumatic Stress.
In Tempe, AZ, Call Center Employees volunteered at MANA House (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force) in Phoenix, a veteran run organization that offers resources, community and advocacy for local veterans. Freedom Staff held a fun BBQ and spent time thanking Veterans for their service.
In Fishers, IN, the Wholesale department hosted a festive taco dinner and game night to lift spirits of residents at the Indy Vet House. The Veteran House serves as a home away from home for Veterans and their families while they receive medical care at the Indianapolis VA.
