Partnering with Habitat for Humanity International, Freedom Mortgage is helping build and restore homes in Florida, Indiana, and New Jersey.
This past June, 45 Freedom Mortgage employees gathered in the Fishers, IN office parking lot to build the wall panels for a future homeowner, Shaquita – who is enrolled in the program with the Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity. Employees have continued their volunteerism on the build site – and look forward to helping hand off the keys to Shaquita and her family later this year.
In New Jersey, 13 employees helped repair a home by painting, landscaping, and more. Freedom Mortgage employee and veteran, Ed Maldonado, was compelled to volunteer and give back. As someone who lived in a Habitat home following his military service, he has an overwhelming appreciation for the organization.
